Black History Month
We celebrate the beauty of Black History month. We pray for restoration and reparation for
our Black neighbors, especially from those who hold the power to bring justice to the
oppressed. We pray for a renaissance of story-telling, honesty, and discovery as we dig
deeper into the narratives of Black history this month. Compel us to action, inspire in us
compassion, and give us courage to move as Your spirit moves towards justice and mercy.
Change us, oh Lord.
