In Advent, there will be, of course, Christmas songs, candles, and decor, but the season of Advent is primarily about waiting and longing.
Perhaps more than any other time in our lives the world is waiting, longing, hoping for peace and deliverance. This collective holding pattern reminds us of the anticipatory hope of Advent and propels us into the spirit of the season.
